it would really suck to have bypassed the best opportunity in history to get to any mainline because you wanted to keep telling yourself everything is fine at Mesa. With the economy tightening, the ship may have sailed already

my fingers would have blisters on them from updating applications at this point. Bail out while you can. With fuel costs rising, mainlines are going to tighten down and Mesa won’t be able to keep losing 40+ million per quarter. They’ve already lost over 90 million this year alone. And it’s only September. When management personnel starts to bail, any pilot with any sense should be bailing too

Odd statement considering most corporate press releases would just say "Mr/Ms X leaving to pursue other opportunities".
