Phoenix base question
Hey fellas. As a pilot, I have no idea where to go for flight attendant advice. So I thought I'd ask my Mesa compadres. My daughter, who is 18, got an offer from Mesa for a Flight Attendant position. During the phone call, the recruiter or HR person told her they closed, or will be closing the Phoenix base for Flight Attendants. We live in Phoenix. I've been piloting the industry for decades and LUV my job. But I can't say I would recommend to her that she take the job is she will be a commuter for long, especially with the pay she will get.
Can anyone confirm if this base closure thing is legit? Or are they using scare tactics to weed out the faint hearted ones. Thanks! |
It's not a scare tactic. It'll be closing.

If you live in PHX, some airlines to consider for her: American Southwest Skywest Frontier Envoy And allegiant at IWA airport. Have her apply there. Don't have her commute. It's hell. |
