Need Mesa Pilots help in search for crashpad

Can anyone who is Mesa crew currently based out of ORD please give me any info on any crashpad openings...also any IAD openings for another FA. Thanks for you help in advance. I've searched crashpads.com, crewcommute and many others and have had no luck:(

I swear APC needs to make a forum dedicated to this stuff. It keeps popping up.

Sorry, can't help ya buddy. Check CRASHPADS® - Relocation Service for Flight Crews Since 1997, the Mesa bulliten board on mesa-air.com or post a note in the crew room.

Sky Angel 11-02-2008 09:37 PM

TurboFan...LOL...I guess being a woman does have its advantages. lol :) Again, thanks for your advise. I will keep searching as I already looked on crashpads.com. Just had an idea that maybe my fellow crewmembers might have some advise or recommendations first:)

you missed the avatar?

A lot of guys on here have chicks as their avatars. I'd be in trouble if I based peoples genders off of their aviators alone.

Hey Angel, I imagine there's FA openings at IAD(but not sure since I'm a Colgan FO), but we'd love to have you at the crashpad here. The owner Mike has a listing on crashpads.com, here's the link to info on the crashpad. Hope to see you here.

Hey Green, there's a good chance that I'll be on my way up to IAD this month after upgrade ... how's the crashpad you're currently in? I commute from DFW

pilot866 11-04-2008 04:43 PM

Be careful about Mike's crashpad. He is very shady, keeping security deposits, the crashpad car frequently brakes down and you have to pay for a cab. Up to 10 people in some rooms. If you ever have a problem he lives in Idaho so good luck getting a hold of him. I would highly recommend looking at some of these websites, there are many options in IAD.

Pilot, i'm assuming you've had experience staying there before? Or is this 3rd hand information you've received from others? You with Colgan?

pilot866 11-05-2008 08:09 AM

I know first hand. I'm still trying to get my security deposit back.

OK I was going to cry foul on this one but did a quick search and sure enough if the seat is not dry and if you just shaved an area that will contact the seat then yes you can get it.

Thats both funny and gross. This would be one of those things that one should keep to themself.

I stayed at one of his places too, about 4 years ago. Mike always seemed nice to the men but a real sleeze to all the ladies. If you're a woman I would stay far, far away from his places. Personal opinion of course.

I have a room available in my house... 3 min from IAD. Crashpad prices WITHOUT the crashpad. Its my home. If interested PM me
