This is not a hearing on the actual lawsuit, nothing will decided about that.

This is a hearing on the injunction which mesa got to prevent DAL from terminating the flying immediately.

The injunction was allowed on a temporary basis to give mesa the opportunity to show that they have some good grounds for lawsuit. If they can show that, the injunction will probably be allowed to stand until the trial.

If mag cannot show something to back up their claims, the injunction will probably be thrown out and DAL will terminate the flying immediately. In this case the lawsuit can still go forward, and although mesa would likely liquidate, the creditors to whom they owe money could pursue the lawsuit to it's conclusion and benefit from a judgment against DAL. More likely, the creditors will settle with DAL after mag shuts down, for pennies on the dollar...kind of like what aloha's creditors did with mag.

Seriously, what the hell do you guys expect is going to happen tomorrow? Half of you don't even have your facts srtraight and don't even know exactly what they are going to court for. I know all of your guys' wet dream is that Mesa will lose, everyone will drop Mesa as a regional carrier so your crappy regional will profit from it. I wonder who the first guy will be to start a new thread tomorrow with "Does anyone know if mesa lost today?"

And no, I do not work for Mesa.

The fact of the matter is this could have an affect on many other regional pilots. And considering there are a lot of us on furlough, it is kind of interesting.

Wow, you're really getting emotional over this. Also, no one has implied Mesa as a "crappy" regional on this thread, yet. I think it's a little unfair for you to to say that.

Mesa is definitely a lightweight compared to big D. With that said they won't be liquidating anytime soon. Watch and see some shrinkage perhaps liquidation no way.

So is it OK, as a mainline Delta pilot, if my wet dream is that we dump MAG so my crappy mainline will profit from it?
