Will Mesa emerge from bankruptcy?

Just a poll to get everyone's opinion on whether Mesa will emerge from bankruptcy or go out of business.

TheBills 07-02-2010 01:19 PM

Yes but not on their own.

NoJoy 07-02-2010 01:45 PM

I vote yes; and eventually a USAir only carrier.

Ferlofodder 07-02-2010 04:33 PM

Yes Mesa will emerge from Bankruptcy, but will be soon acquired. Any takers?

GearMover 07-02-2010 04:45 PM

Yes, with new management and a with a new purchase, Comair

surreal1221 07-02-2010 05:19 PM

This poll is more of an emotional debate internally...

What do WE individual want to happen. :)

Mesa is going to buy Comair?

Haahaaha....

I guess Delta would agree because they think they would be punishing Mesa.

Wow, talk about tying two rocks together...

They'll emerge. But they will not be the same company they once were.

I can not think of one that is....can you?

Our government doesn't let companies with 1000+ employees fail....that's a lot of votes in the next election

Fly IFR 07-03-2010 08:27 AM

They will emerge, but as a small 700/900 operator only, in my opinion.

Sure they do - look at Lehman Brothers circa September 2008.

It sounds like they might keep the six airways dashes too. Didn't they just submit a renewal notice for 4 of them?

Figures as much. Daddy Airways doesn't want to lose that service out west, and he certainly wouldn't want to give it to a wholly owned carrier.

I digress. I'm pessimistic about their emergance, but if they do survive, I'll agree it'll be a 700/900 fleet. Maybe the Airways Dashes will remain since the service they provide can't be duplicated with other aircraft.

Unless I missed your "sarcasm" tag, YGBSM. 1000 voters isn't squat.

They'll merge with Air Whiskey or ExpressJet IMO.
