I think there might just be a new winner in the race to the bottom.

Please give us your wisdom in how this makes sense? Compass is not taking concessions, or operating on a sub-standard contract.

Jealousy makes people say the craziest things. Compass is hiring.

Leave mesa

Look at facts. There are very few captains moving to majors from mesa. Although some good people have been passed up, but also many that have little business being in charge of a airplane. You need something in the background that will help you get looked at in a couple years like flow/pref int. Basing is a big deal as well. Mesa is all about the carrot. I get the impression it's fizzling out

To be fair some of these guys are getting passed up due to their age. The majors won't come out and blatantly state it but it seems they do want younger pilots for obvious reasons.

Three years? Wow. The depth of knowledge over there is getting scary thin.

Calm down. Flight instructors with 300 hours are teaching kids how to solo. I think someone with a few thousand hours and a year on type is more than qualified to teach one of the most automated airplanes out there.

Just a friendly reminder, all regionals operate under sub-standard contracts. Look at what mainline pilots made on similar sized aircraft over 10+ years ago.

Sincerely,

A sub standard regional FO.

Your contract isn't all that great(even for a regional), and being owned by Hulas means it is probably as good as it's ever gonna be...
