This goes back to 117 implementation. United had numerous meetings with their partners and had discussions on what needed to be changed to make thing work.

Airways, and thereby American. Told us they wouldn't change their marketing strategy due to the rest rule changes.

Airways productivity dropped an entire hour overnight with 117.

a lot of it had to do with move to Dallas and our abysmal performance out of there. AA's schedules had a lot padding in them to cover our performance. As we have become more efficient our schedule has or will become more efficient as well.

NavTech's version is pilot centric. It's goal is to give as many pilots as possible a bid that they want. That's not how global solution packages work.

PBS works exceptionally well for those WHO BOTHER TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT. I can tell you from experience the number of new pilots who KNOW how to use the software properly at Mesa is exceptionally low.
At my place of employment we use line bidding. Bidding closes at noon and bang I have a schedule within the hour. Within how long of when the bids close do you get the awards there at Mesa?? I bet it's a while so the company can massage it for their best interest. Again I feel bad for you guys over there... What an aweful place

So, you don't work here. You know absolutely nothing about how pbs works or even how it's run at Mesa. But you have no problem coming in here and bashing something you know absolutely NOTHING about.

Crawl back into your cave troll, your mommies looking for you.

I have line bidding at my new company as well. It might take me a bit longer each month to enter my bid then I did with PBS at Mesa but leaving Mesa after 13.5 years and getting a line with all weekends off, with only 12 days off as my last and best line, while having to wait until the 20-23rd for them to come out was garbage compared to my new job. I even knew how to use PBS like no other. Now three months in and I am getting RSV lines with every weekend off, 12-13 days off, no ready reserve, used half of my rsv days the rest I sit at home, and oh yes, my schedule comes out by the 14th. In another two months I should be able to get a line too. So Mesa has a long ways to go with the scheduling department. PBS is a joke that it closes on the 17th yet not awarded until the 20-23rd. It should be out within the hour. I do get however that Mesa is a contractor and cannot create the schedules as nicely as majors do. So guys get your apps up to date! So worth it. You will be shocked at how you will actually be able to swap rsv days, swap trips, drop stuff, etc. Coming from Mesa I was in shock, still am!

Junior Assigned Question?

Trying to look thru contract and find a specific reference,

When You get a call from Crew Tracking saying you have been Junior Assigned..

Do you have to accept the trip?

Any consequences if you don't accept?
