Mesa contract
Just wondering in what aspects your contract is "behind" other regionals (duty rigs, guarantee, days off etc)
Are there any rumors as to when you will be voting on a new TA? Any pay raises and improvements in the forseeable future?
What's the general length of time new hires are on rsv/average upgrade time in either CRJ or EJet?
-thanks!

I don't know other regional's contracts well enough to make an informative comment. My uninformed opinion is that no contracts are great at the regional level, our reserve rules are bad but not the worst. No rigs. Min days off is 8, but lines are built to min of 11 days off but there's a mix of days off up to 16 being the most we usually see.
No TA rumors. We just signed a TA. No pay improvements on the horizon. Current negotiations are focused on QOL issues.
Current reserve times are at and above 4 years. Thus is because the company currently sees fit to put 40% of the list on reserve, which is unheard of. We blame it on overstaffing, there's not enough block hours to create lines for all the pilots so the company chooses to put a large percentage on reserve and give them little pieces of flying continuously as "busy work". Hopefully that will change once the flow to AA picks up and pilots leave to other airlines.
Upgrades are ~8 years or so.

Uuuuhhhh. I think the OP was asking about Mesa, not Envoy AMF

Just to be clear, AMF is talking about Envoy here, not Mesa. Something to compare against.

I never said Mesa was the only one; just answering a question that was posed. Though I think there are several regionals where you won't get the same hours as you will at Mesa due to sitting on reserve for over a year.

Our min days off is 11, not 8.
We have no min day, trip rigs, and our cancellation pay is block or better. Not line for line. Reserve work rules are horrible. Even though I might have a trip that starts at 9pm, I still have to be available starting at noon. I am not released until show time like Express Jet has.
Think our company only pays 10% of health insurance. I am using Obama Care. Pay is below industry standard, and Mesa meddles big time with reserve buffers. Can't easily drop stuff.
Hotel section states"shall be adequate", with no language stating what that is.

Where is that? You are TSA, so you have a little problem called Go-Jet. Our contract is lacking in many areas because a lot of capitol was spent on forbidding our company from creating alter ego's.
