You're absolutely right. I do make 22.18/hr first year, but with my bonus I can assure you I will be making much more. With the high attrition rate, current upgrade time is around 2 years. I'll be making $65/hr. Plus, I'll be able to do some recruitment and receive bonus money on top of that. In my 3rd year I'll be breaking even with most major pilots I know. Numbers don't lie, it's all in the math.

Good sir, I'm not a recruiter, although I wouldn't mind joining the Mesa recruiters and someday if the situation presents itself. Mesa has allowed me to follow my dreams. Pay shouldn't be a deciding factor on the status of a company. We get to do what we love and that should be enough. It's all about what you make of it and I'm loving life, and Mesa currently. Just think, when you were building time to get to the airlines I'm sure you would have paid money for flight time. Now WE get paid to fly. How can you complain?

A recruiter at Great Lakes said they might start flying the 747 with a year 1 FO making $23/hr and if I take the job now I'll be 1st in line to upgrade to the 74 when it starts flying in as early as a year. I seriously hope it happens, I'd love to fly the queen of the skies!

Pilot progression takes time. Starting my career at an older age I won't be given the same amount of time to reach the top like most. A potential job at NAI would allow me to fly some heavy metal before I retire. We all have dreams, I respect yours whatever they may be. So please don't infringe on mine.

Hahaha he's lying dude cmon. Any guy who takes a position at NAI would no longer be welcome at any US carrier bc of obvious reasons. Especially a legacy.
