Oh, and nice trolling. Very first post ever comes in with this.
if you don't think this statement is true then you are as clueless as your MEC and negotiating committee wants you to be.

Sounds like a rumor being started by management to divide pilots against the union. Shouldn't you be busy running your airline into the ground instead of trolling APC?

Ask your MEC rep if its true or not. If it's true would your point of view change?

True or not true, you shouldn't care, because you should be working on getting out to greener pastures.

Industrial leading in ten years from now. Maybe, if everyone else takes consessionary contracts. That maybe...lol. GL guys, I wish you guys the best, remember 3 years from today the actual real shortage of pilots is going to happen. Look at the flight schools now, there is very few in the training cycle at many schools I keep in contact with. I don't know how this is going to work out, but just keep that in mind.

I see a man by the name of Mr. Paul Foley is returning to Mesa.
What do the employees think of him? Is this a good or bad step forward?
I don't know anything about him.

Why are you so enamored by all of this? Do you have a class date? Or are you still about two years out from having ATP mins? He's upper management bean counter that hates pilots.

I have, that's how I know your statement is wrong.

I'm a known person with direct links to Mesa and ALPA. There are numerous people on here who will attest that when I give information it backed up by facts and data.

You created an account yesterday and came on here with an outrageous claim designed to just stir up crap. No one knows you. You have not provided any proof or any reason for someone to believe you.

I'm not going to argue with you about it anymore, and leave it to the people on here to figure out which person they believe more.

Sounds like bs to me and holds up about as well as a soup sandwich. Hell, I don't even know if it would be legal for the union to turn down a proposal that exceeds their demands as that would be outside of the requirement to bargain in good faith. It would be like turning down a purchase offer on your house for your full listing price ... you can't legally do it. Now, if other non-pay aspects of the proposal (work rules, etc) were so far off the mark, perhaps then, the MEC could turn it down as well. But, being that pay is the foremost issue, then the rest of it would have to be awfully pathetic for the MEC to be willing to turn down something that met or exceeded their pay demands.

So, get real here and remember who the union is dealing with! Do you really think Mesa's counteroffer could have been anything other than a pile of boxed up dog$#!+ with pretty paper and a bow? Nobody in this forum is that naive.
