You're arguing semantics just to try and prove yourself vindicated, nobody is "quitting" 363 days in. And if bonus isn't part of pay, do you claim it on your taxes? Did you spend your bonus? People like you are the reason we've got such a bad rep in the industry and with our leadership and really lower our "ask" capability at the table. The company gave us a fair, mutually negotiated contract.

I’m still waiting for any reputable company that doesn’t provide lodging or the funds for lodging. Second thing is working overtime shouldn’t be added to your base salary, neither should bonus... especially the bonus, cause if you leave before it’s actually earned you give it back.

Perspective..
hey.. for those of you complaining about pay.. do you know who’s NOT complaining about pay? Compass Air, Trans States, soon GoJet and other regionals who aren’t going to survive this mess. They’re not complaining about the “crappy pay at Mesa.” Nor are all the major airlines pilots about to be furloughed in October.
Because they don’t and won’t have ANY pay to complain about.
We are the best positioned airline - big or small - to make it through this crisis BECAUSE of our low costs to United. If anything, you should put your Business 101 hats on and realize that our low cost means better profits for our carrier. More profits means more work. More work means job security.
Unlike the higher paid pilots around us who no longer have a job.
Because they don’t and won’t have ANY pay to complain about.

Thats the message I’ve been trying to convey, yet no one seems to get it. We’re all going to be taken care of because of how Mesa operates as a company. We are all fortunate to be here now. There’s nothing wrong with a little give and take. If the company gives too much they take our jobs.

I for one would rather get furloughed or go out of business than go to work daily knowing that Mesa leadership values my years of sacrifice and dedication to this career the least out of any of my peers.

Attitudes like yours are what we don’t need here. You cannot be greedy and expect a company to give you everything you want. Be thankful for what you have, and if you’re not you know where the door is. At the end of the day everyone has their best interest in mind.
Welcome to APC J.O. !
P.S. Jonathan, why do you and Randy Lahey have the exact same join date and number of posts?
