If your not up for a falalfel, go to Jim's Restaurant. Owned and operated by Jim, it's a small Irish restaurant with tremendous food and atmosphere. Jim ensures he greets every guest either at the door or at your table, and will even give preferred seating to regulars. You might have to wait if it's a busy night but well worth it. Great food, good drinks, and fabulous atmosphere.

Directions:

Behind the Gulf Hotel. Travel South on Al Fatih highway until you see the grand Mosque on your left hand side. At that light turn right onto Bani Otbah Ave and turn left onto the second opening road.
Or ask the taxi driver....

It's near the Navy side, but the Bahrain Burger is bueno!
