Final selection is accomplished by the Air Force Reserve Board, which normally meets every eight weeks throughout the year. 3. If you are selected, you will be expected to serve as a full time reservist during pilot training (approx. 16 months) and for at least 8-12 months with the squadron for seasoning training. We want to thank you for your interest in 709th Airlift Squadron. Please keep your application package current. |
Does anyone know if you can apply for UPT as a guard guy if you have 11 years of active federal service as an army pilot? I would be 29 at that time so I think I would need a waiver for that anyway. I have several friends who would love to try and fly fighters in the air guard after their ADSO is up

But to your question, you'd need to discuss with a local reserve unit to see what their policy is. |
