Fly Pay (ACIP) Increase?

A squadron buddy found this the other day:

https://militarybenefits.info/milita...s-special-pay/
(Scroll down a little to Aviation Career Incentive Pay)

These years/rates are higher than previous. Then it says effective April 2017. A few calls with DFAS and PSD/Pay departments and they are clueless.

Anyone else know anything about this? You think we may get back pay to April 2017?

Prior to this, everything I had read said it was effective FY18. Talking with our local finance, they are aware and they are in the process of getting everyones pay updated. She said they're getting updates weekly from NGB on the issue and emphasized that it's a process. I'm guessing some serious changes to computer code was involved (with antiquated .gov anyway...). Last I talked to them, AGRs had been completed but technicians and DSGs were still being worked. She said we would be back payed. They're hoping the update just automatically does it, but she said they may have to back and do it manually.

Here is the 2018 pay table with the updated rates, straight from the DFAS website.
