Aircraft locations and missions are not really for public consumption. Changes constantly anyway as threats and needs are continuously reevaluated. If you don't want fly the drone don't accept a drone base.

What Aircraft do you fly? I was told you would likely be trained up in two. Does that sound right? If your applying with 90% single engine fixed wing time and 10% (100hrs) in rotors what’s the likelihood you will be assigned to fly a Helicopter? I’m guessing it might be slim.

I guess my question would be if you’re applying to be an AIA and want to fly Helicopters but only have about 100hrs in them will you get a Helicopter position|location? Thanks for your time.

Hey bud! Stop worrying about what aircraft or where you might get hired for. Needs of the service. You can only be be hired and sent to one of the 5-9 garden locations listed in the announcement. Apply, tighten up the last few pages of your logbook, study up on part 61, 91 and think scenario type questions. If you don't like or can't accept the location given, don't take the job. Jokingly, they will most likely send you to an office you are LEAST suited for.
Nuff said?
