I remember back in the day pay was $2000/day to fly a Mig in Liberia.

I can actually envision a non-taciar pilot being trained very expediently to drop bombs or maybe do gun CAS, assuming air superiority. Don't really need to push the envelop for that. But some prior jet time would have been a real good idea

LoL! I was thinking the same, probably has more combat sorties then most of the Chair Force.
