Mil IP to CFI, what will I get

I have gotten multiple answers on this question, so I am obviously looking to get more confused by turning to an internet forum.

Background
I am a Multi-engine IP form 8 holder in the USAF. With Commercial SEL/MEL (no centerline, got that removed last year when the rule changed) Instrument and private glider (will be adding a commercial glider in Feb).

I have 250+hrs of civilian SEL time. 90ish T-6II hours from UPT. No other mil SEL flying.

After I do my MCI testing. What will I get: (CFII MEI) based on what I know the CFII and MEI is 100% happening. But I have heard I could get lucky and get CFI CFII MEI.

The reason I ask, I recently had a friend who's dad never touched a SEL in the USAF (tweets to MEL heavy flying his whole career) and when he took his MCI test completion to the FSDO. They gave him CFI CFII MEI because he had a presented 10hrs of PIC in civilian SEL airplanes.

Here are the CFR's I have been trying to comprehend:

61.73
61.183
61.185
61.191

My follow on question, if I do not receive the CFI because of no SEL mil IP form 8. What do I need to do to get this added. Just a practical or another knowledge test and practical.

Should get what you instructed in as an IP..... CFI with multi engine and instrument airplane. You will have to take a checkride for the single engine airplane and glider add-ons! Notice how it says "airplane". In other words, if you get a single engine seaplane added to your commercial and have 5 hours of PIC in seaplanes, the CFI single engine airplane allows you to instruct in the seaplane.

Thank you for the response.

Let’s say I take my MCI in and get the CFII MEI.

I then go on to fly a mil SEL (f-35 or t-6). Can I just take that form 8 to gain the CFI?

If use the MCI now and get the CFII MEI. And the go on to a SEL mil IP (35 or t-6). Can I just take that form 8 in to get the CFI added?

Thanks!

If go and get the CFII MEI. Then go on to a 35 and become an IP. Do I just take that form 8 in to get a CFI?

Sheppard Air Flight Test 5.0 Prep Software ATP, Flight Engineer, Mil Comp - FAA Airline Transport Pilot

You are going to have to ask the FAA if you can add the single engine airplane CFI to an already issued CFI via mil comp pathway. It sounds reasonable but not sure! If you dig into Sheppard air, you can find a lot of answers to your questions as well as the gouge for the mil comp cfi exam and how to use IACRA.

Should be able to. The mil comp should be agnostic as to what existing (if any) certs you hold, or how you got them.

Mil IP to CFI, what will I get

For anyone reading this. I talked with Sheppard air. And to confirm what was said previously.

One MCI test required, in my case. MEL IP in the USAF. I’ll receive a CFII MEI.

If later I receive a form 8 in a SEL USAF aircraft. I just take that form 8 to a FSDO or DPE and they will add the CFI.

As stated, one test.

How do you know what you'll get?

The aircraft listed under sect II B, in block 4 a. Those are the aircraft types for which you will have to show documentation proving you are a Military qualified IP. You will get what you get based on the category and class of those aircraft.
