Default Question for Guard Guys... Early Retirement Eligibility

Here's a question for fellow guard guys... With the 2008 NDAA, which went into effect on 28 January 2008, for every 90 days of active duty we do in support of the GWOT, the age at which we can draw our retirement pay is reduced by a commensurate amount. (for those of you who don't know, guardsmen typically do not draw their military retirement until reaching age 60). My question is, is this 90 days continuous, or 90 days aggragate. I'm on 1 year MPA orders in support of the contingency, so my situation is fairly clear cut, but some of the technicians are wondering if they can piece together 90 days throughout the year, will they get their retirement reduced as well. Anybody know?

I heard they had clarified that, sounds like you can combine seperate periods of AD to get to 90 days. I also understand that drills cannot count towards the total.
