AV-8B Harrier down in NC
Fox News was reporting today that a AV-8B Harrier II had crashed today in the North Carolina woods. No reports on the condition of the pilot. Has anyone else heard any details?

A sincere and heartfelt "Thanks" to the family for the sacrifice.
You all remain in our thoughts. Peace |
I am not a military pilot however, my father is a Naval Flight Surgeon and we did about 5 years in Cherry Point from 87-92. He actually flew the AV-8Bs when we were there and then went over to F18-Ds with another squadron I think. In the AV-8 he was in VMA-223. Is this the squadron does anyone know? God Speed.....
