I don't think the cameramen were ready, so who knows. They drowned out, "by the dawn's early light".

F-22s apparently. Seemed about a minute early. I thought it still worked though.

A minute early? was the spotter on the field drunk or did he have his ipod in?

how did it still work? the chic started singing, the sound was drowned out by the engine noise, and the camera never moved to the aircraft. seemed like pure buffoonery to me.

It worked fine because it was all part of the show! The flag was out and the planes flew over.

The people in the audience don't care anyway..as far as most of them are concerned the planes were on time!!! They saw some cool fighters and it drowned out the murdering of our national anthem by someone who cant just sing the song as written.

Lighten up.

At $120+ mil per copy...with a FAC...on a low threat peace time mission...they missed their TOT by a minute

Is that why it is just an F and not an F/A? :) <-- that's for USMCFLYR

So far so good on my missions of this type but I'm ready to pass stop while the stopping is good
Again.....I have no idea what happened - but I'm willing to bet it was more buffoonery on the part of some other link in the chain than the aircrew.
I mean I have students with less than 50 hrs in the plane able to hit a TOT within a minute - USUALLY!

It's probably because the pilots had updated their flight plan with their thumbdrive before loading it into the aircraft....and the Chinese figured out how to take over the remote piloting software and caused them to be a minute late.
