Military Instructor to CFI
Apologize if this is answered elsewhere, but is there any knowledge out there on the equivilency test for CFI based on military instructor time?

Here is a link to a site that provides software prep for FAA ratings. They have a good handle on the process. As you can see, there is still some administrivia left on the table before this will become finalized. Their software is solid, I used it for the ATP and was pleased.

Being finalized; At the highest levels. Should be signed by administrator very soon. Then published. Pretty much a done deal. After the administrator signs it and it's published in the federal register, the "effective date" will be 60 days after the date of signing. If it is signed this week or next week as expected, it will be published in March or April Then it will be a few weeks until the rules are distributed and FSDOs are up to speed. |

MilCompCFI Wow.. Pretty thorough site. They have pretty much the same info as I have (mine from a separate source--so it seems the info may be reliable). Only your info is more thorough. Thanks for the link. |
