Wow. Much respect!

In fact, I've been enjoying this thread even though I'm USN trained. Love all of the class stickers at different Base OPS and FBO's I've been to. A few of my buds came up with some stuff in flight school, but the USN doesn't really do class patches (or didn't when I went through). We wore that USN officer insignia patch on the right shoulder out of fear of catching any flack from IP's. Could have just been a VT-2 or Whiting thing (I do remember seeing Nueces Aces on some Corpus brethren when I got to advanced).

Keep this thread going. It's sort of like the end of "Fast times at Ridgemont High" when we get to see where folks ended up.

I feel really old when I see classes that I taught have people at the airlines.

dude I think your only decision is whether to stay or look for a full time guard or rsv position. I dont think the job picture anywhere will look much better next year than this one... majors not hiring,,,,, regionals not hiring.... corporate departments closing faster than you can blink your eyes.. and or laying off 1/3 to 1/2 of the flight department in many cases.....

decisions...yes.... but my guess is all military related....

I will post mine again... 87-03 Willy, C-130E Pope. 40th TAS.

Spot on. 2012 is when the age 65 crowds start retiring again. Hopefully the economy would have started recovering by then.
