I don't remember much about his stories but I do remember when he said he flew A-37's and I responded with...oh, like the T-37....his response was no, not like the T-37. Just like you said, he said lots more power, more fun.

My understanding was the A-37 had the T-38 engines (without AB) and wing tanks. I'm sure the air conditioning system was just as worthless:D

Exactly! It also had 8 hardpoints on the wings, 7.62 minigun, probe and drogue refueling and the only seat that was more uncomfortable than the T-37.:D Once the tips were down to half full, it had a 1 to 1 thrust to weight ratio.
