Honestly I don't think I have ever seen so many discuss A/R like it was an artform.......and get a woody doing it........sheesh, it's just ADMIN!

And that is fine with me. But they all cry like babies when it goes bad and they have to divert or the tanker isn't close enough. |
I see your point FB, I do, I guess we take it for granted in the Navy because we ALWAYS have to tank on every mission when we're at sea.

Refueling a fully loaded C-5, or leading a four-ship of KC-135s to refuel a E-4B loaded with civilians that will call your MAJCOM if you screw it up requires a bit more thought. And managing a 100k offload with a fuel totalizer that was apparently manufactured by HASBRO practically requires a college degree in adding and subtracting. :) |
