Unless, of course, you can pull a 3.8 GPA as an engineering student.
At my ROTC det our CC understood that a fella with a 2.9 GPA in electrical engineering was probably a lot smarter and dedicated than a fella with a 3.8 in Geology. Our engineering students never missed a pilot slot for grades. The CC saw to that by ranking his cadets accordingly.
Bottom line: STUDY WHAT YOU ENJOY. Life's too short to waste time studying something you hate.
