Default Broke Aspiring Student Applying for GUARD SLOT

Need some advice about applying for a Guard/Reserve Slot with 50hrs. TT but no private just yet. (To damn Broke to Afford it.) Im a first year law student who has the aspiration to receive a guard slot; but can't afford to shell out any more money towards flying. What would u suggest in-regards to solving this dilemma?

""" Do I even have a chance in applying without a private? (Flight Time was accumulated over 3 years----stop and go----)"""

Also I have my dispatcher license--- if that helps at all--- (Don't Laugh)

Ditto, unless you get the JAG appointment and then discover that you still want to fly. At that point, research your options. You may or may not be able to get a slot. I can guarantee you this though, that with a JAG appointment, and the contacts I'm sure you will make, you will have NO PROBLEM paying for flight training.

It's not impossible to get a slot without a PPL but your odds are slim to none with most squadrons. In my squadron in the past 6 to 9 years those selected have had a PPL as a minimum all the way through ATP. Is more better? Not necessarily but they do want to see some dedication to wanting to fly for a living and the ability to see something through from start to finish.
