Default Libya Mirage Defects?

I noticed some pictures on airliners.net of the recent defects of two libyan air force jets. They say they were ordered to bomb civilians.....so where in the pictures are the bombs on the plane?
There seems to be an olive colored "pod" in the pictures...are those it? Were they removed before these pictures? Drop them in the ocean?

Thoughts?

Links to pictures? Yes they could've hucked them off in the desert or over water, or just jettisoned them. The pods, could be rocket pods, in which case the media just used the blanket "bomb" for any air attack. "Strafe" isn't in a lot of peoples vocabulary either, which would have been the choice for low collateral damage.

They look like artillary shells. Maybe fuel tanks but they look too small for that.

thanks for the link to the pics. I didnt really think about the fact that the media could be just be using the blanket "bomb" statement.

Looks like another another couple guys took more extreme measures! Replace crash with Eject!

Libyan pilots crash fighter jet rather than attack Benghazi -

Excellent picture! I think that pretty much sums it up then. Interesting about the crash story too. I wonder how low these guys have to lay now? Are there going to be Libyan thugs out to get em?
