McChord Boys Are The Best!
There was a serious windstorm that hit the Pacific Northwest starting the evening of November 15. Winds gusted and tree limbs fell all over the place. We lost power from 9:30 pm and didn't get it back until almost 5 am today.
The shop is fine except the parking lot looked like a Christmas tree lot that just had a big sale. My husband cleaned it all up while I stood there pointing out the places where he missed the odd pinecone. :) It was still pretty windy today when I finally got to the gym. Nothing though stopped the C-17s and other assorted airplanes from flying around. Each one of them flew straight as an arrow. I even saw a plane that had four gigantic propellers and cutest "button nose." It, too, flew into the wind quite well. You guys are one of the best, if not the best, aviators I have ever seen. |
never too windy when you fly into combat :) I used to watch the planes taking off from McChord years back.... that button nosed baby was a c-130 probably

That J model sure is nice.
And for the record...THAT particular J model WILL NEVER SEE COMBAT. It's a Hurricane Hunter. |
