For those who got the 737 type with the post 911 GI Bill, are you paying for the course up front and then paid back later from the VA? Looking to go to HPA this fall.

That is correct. Paid the money up front and still waiting on the reimbursemnt!

When I went to HPA last Nov, guys that had a benefit confirmation letter from the VA didn't pay up front. HPA billed the VA direct. I've heard through buds that HPA now requires payment then reimbursement due to the long wait for processing. Mine took 6+ months and payed HPA this week. I'm waiting for my reimbursment...

Started my 737 type last week at HPA. Had to pay up front. They didn't know how long the wait will be, apparently it keeps getting longer.
