Former Dutch Air Force pilot transition

Hey all,

I was a Maintenance Test Pilot in an AH64D Apache for the Dutch Air Force and have moved to the US about 2.5 years ago.

I want to make the jump to civil flying and I'm doing all fixed wing "requirements" at this time.

I have however done a complete training in Helicopters that the US guys can convert to a Civil Commercial ticket with doing a military comp test. I'm not eligeable for this test (Trust me I tried:( ).

What do you guys think will be my best and "cheapest" option to get all my helicopter ratings?

I currently have around 950 hours TT of which about 875 in Helicopters. All requirements for training have been met while training in Ft Rucker, AL for a year. I also have PIC time I can show!

I should have my fixed wing Private/Instrument/Commercial/CFI licenses within a month (or 2).

Thanks for the time,

Richard

Try going to http://aptap.forumco.com/default.asp and posting this question. This is a website that was started by Army Helicopter pilots who made the transition to the airlines. Some one there may be able to help.
