F-16 plant tour?

I can't answer your question directly, but a few years ago we flew a C-17 to Alameda Army Airfield which was a few blocks from Long Beach where they build the C-17. We grabbed a crew van and drove over to the C-17 factory and asked if we can get a tour. They treated us like rock stars and all the workers were happy to meet us and talk about the plane. I even got to crawl into a fuel tank! I'd recommend you tell them you fly the jet and I'm sure they will take care of you

I diverted into Palmdale about 1985 in an OV-10 when I had a cockpit electrical fire. While I waited for my squadron to drive over there from George AFB and pick me up, Rockwell (nee North American) gave me a tour of B-1Bs being built.
Very cool. I think the manufacturers like to PR-points it gives them.
