Maybe the Department of Education should pick up the tab for flyovers. I recall a valuable lesson about life taught by the Thunderbirds (F-4) arrival show: "Things can sneak up on you." Volume was adequate for even the hearing-impaired.

Hide the children and protect the women, an unarmed U.S. fighter a/c is seen in the U.S. causing panic amongst the unknowning!

No doubt Col Banks is part of the Greatest Generation. Maybe he was a tough guy to work for......I don't know? But given what I know of his peers and the sacrifices I see in his bio, I'd love to have more Col Banks types in my chain of command right now.

Unfortunately the Col. Banks type has been slowly weeded out over the years .
LOL you have people who can't even recognize AF 1 flying over the Statue of Liberty .
