Default Requiem and Tribute

I was fortunate to meet (and carry on like a fighter pilot) with Bud Day at the Phantom Pharewell in Germany in 1994. Col Day was our guest of honor.

To the man, what he did, and what he stood for. This video still gives me chills. In 1994, I was Bud Jr's Flight Commander:

He presented me (and every member of my UPT class) with our wings when we graduated, making what was already an awesome day in my life truly outstanding. I had the honor of drinking a few thin ones with Bud later that night in the O-club. Something I'll never forget.

A nickel on the grass & tailwinds, Colonel Day - you are missed.
