Majors hiring Guard Guys?

Is anybody in the know if the major guys are hiring Guard/Reserve guys? Rumors are flying all around my unit that they are using that as a discriminator for skipping over applicants because they have been burned before. (Guys taking Military leave right after they get hired) Can any new hires confirm that they had any Guard/Reserve guys in their class in the past few months?

I've had 3 of my guys get interviews at UAL. All reservists. 2 hired.

I know of 7 guard guys from 2 different squadrons that have been hired recently.
