*C-12 Drivers

Looking to connect with Army / any C-12 Airplane Drivers.

I just got picked up to make the jump with the Guard and am pretty stoked.

For those considering the jump to the guard, I did it years ago and haven't looked back.

Congrats! What state are you with? I'm in the VTARNG C-12 OSA Det 27. Former AD guy & the Guard is good! Try ArmyFixedWing.com - Army Fixed Wing Aviator resource - AFW & APTAP.org - Professionals Helping Professionals for good C-12 gouge & networking info.

I'm sorry to say that I had not heard of this book before!

After looking at some of the reviews on-line it, and the author, seem very well respected in the community.

Where did you end up finding/buying the book?

The Nook e-book was like $18, another site was $50 for the paperback, and then off Amazon it was like $100 USED!!!!

It really is a great book. I bought the nook version. I am soooo done spending a ton of money on books. Cheap, electronic, and cloud-capable is the way to go.

Are you going to do King Air training at Flight Safety?
I did the FSI course 3 years ago. Adequate, I suppose, but it didn't even come close to my expectations. I wasn't impressed.
But the airplane itself is good. And those engines just don't quit.

ChinookDriver47 01-22-2014 07:37 AM

I think I am doing the 2 week systems / CPT training @ CAE Sims in DFW or LGA then headed to Bridgeport for the AQC. That's the plan for now anyway.
