Unfortunately, old Charlie had no authority to undermine the law which protects servicemen and women. Had I gotten that, I would have thanked him and told him I was almost out of toilet paper and this memo will help.

These effing "commanders" need to read the damn rules and understand the challenges of maintaining two lives. They have been in the positions for too long to understand.

Jackson can blow up twitter with his edicts...but they have no legal leg to stand on.

Not necessarily a bad thing...assuming the motive was to educate and inform. Doesn't hurt to try although I personally suspect airlines already know all the rules...so they can best circumvent them to maximum degree possible.
