Thoughts and prayers!
 

Please keep Horny and his daughter in your thoughts and prayers as they work to recover from injuries sustained in a mishap. It was through this forum at APC where I first met Horny in 07 as I started my transition out off active duty to the reserves, helped him with his inter-service transfer to the Navy. Was neat to see him rise to command in the Naval Reserve, I hope and pray that he's able to rise to this challenge and get well.

Sorry to hear about this. My daughter wears nomex when we do GA, maybe we all should.

Horny was one of my UPT instructors back in 2001 at Laughlin AFB when he was a FAIP. He was one of my favorites to fly with, great guy & great IP. Glad he and his daughter made it out alive. Best wishes to both!

Horny is a great guy that I've know for years. Although he is out on mil leave from Delta there will be lots of unforeseen expenses. Here's a link with more information about his heroic actions to save his daughter and if so inclined, donate a couple bucks to help his family.
