OP,

You need to think long term. Don't forfeit the slot, you will regret it. Additionally, it will take you longer than you think and cost more than you think to get your civilian ratings. Then you'll need to build 1500 hours making less than you'll make as a Lt.

I think a lot of the replies you got telling you to bail, did not factor in the time and money you'll spend just getting to a regional.

Don't throw this opportunity away...

OP: I don't know you. Therefore, if you think this won't work, then drop it.
If you are willing to go all in, then keep it and join the military.
