What's a gig like this pay? Options to move around to different FSI locations?

hindsight2020 02-05-2017 02:35 PM

It's a 70K +/- whatever gig with crappy 401K. Dunno about internal lateral portability.

Re: FSI

Starting pay is 78k. They will own you and your schedule will constantly change. Schedule depends on airplane you are teaching and if it is in demand. Do not go to Wichita or Columbus. Wichita is like being back in the Military. Cmh you will have to deal with Net Jets and their idiosyncrasies which can be difficult.

Don't go to FSI Tucson either

They make you sign a training contract and take you to court if you don't serve it out.

You'll start off doing one thing for one salary and end up doing five other ancillary jobs for the same pay.

It's full of guys who haven't seen a real cockpit for 20 years

It's full of office drama

Tons of Corporate B.S.

Talking to co-workers of the opposite sex is frowned upon

Should I stop????

I can go on.
