Home mortgage help
Relocating to base in MSP and looking at buying. Anyone in the MSP area have a lender that they have gone through that understands airline pilot income? I've heard stories that it's easy to run into issues since we don't have a typical 40 hour work week. Also if anyone knows of any good realtors they have dealt with in the past, any help would be appreciated!

I bought a house this time last year and everything went very smoothly. I used a Keller Williams realtor who has a friend at SkyWest, so she got it, and Alerus Mortgaging. I'd be more than happy to put you in contact with both if you want to PM me.

You could always pay a closing attorney(since they do all the work anyways) and negotiate a lower price without the buyers Realtor commission factored in. I'd rather sell to a buyer that's not using a Realtor.

Seller raises the price of the house to cover the commission. This has always been the case. 6% is outrageous for home in my area.
