Identity Theft: One Woman's Story
Reading this just makes my skin crawl. My advice to all: check your bank account frequently, safeguard credit cards and checks, never reveal personal information to people or companies you do not know, contact a supervisor at the bank if anything is amiss, contact your state Attorney General.

I don't have to worry about that (yet), but I'll definitely keep it in mind later in my life. It is very disconcerting that Poor's former employer (BOA) told her, How do we know you're not making this up?
"It’s absolutely ridiculous how I was treated with such disregard by customer service and the lack of urgency the bank had for resolving this issue," she said.
