All the more reason for taxes to be mostly if not completely abolished!

Art History degrees? There are people who will actually hire you with art history degrees. Other degrees, not so much.

If this passes, I think the state will see an exodus beyond its current level. My wife is a respiratory therapist (about as solidly of a middle-class job there is), and single filers with her job would see themselves fall into the 11.55% tax bracket, only about half a percent shy of California's current top tax rate. Talk about destroying your state by causing your entire tax base to leave. Under this plan the highest tax bracket would jump to 18.5%.

But to add to it, the gross receipts and payroll taxes on businesses is probably even more of a state destroyer than the personal income hikes.

Thankfully I will be hitting ATP mins this year and we can get the **** out of this decaying hell hole.

The only future for someone with that degree is academia. The feedback loop continues.

I heard the old saw it is next to impossible to get a job with a degree that ends in the word “studies”. Other than academic jobs teaching more in those courses, I think there is a lot of truth.

Do you have a 4 year degree? I'm guessing not.
You need to get in on that art history thing...

Good luck moving out of CA. U-haul ran out of trucks a month ago.

I'm sure that CA is expecting to keep getting a lot of tax revenues off of silicon valley. Apple and Alphabet have some nice big headquarters buildings there.
