Looking for offshore investment bank
 

Thanks to our mis-guided State Department, my Russian equities are now worthless in the US. However the company continues to pay big dividends to their share holders outside the US. In fact since the sanctions, the company has increases their revenues and payouts.

I need to find an investment bank wherein I can park my securities and receive the dividends I am missing.

The catch 22 here is that while the shares are worthless in the US, I cannot take a loss on my taxes, cannot sell the equites…

Any of you European or Asian residents have a suggestion on a bank that takes US accounts and is located in a country not honoring the sanctions?

Maybe route it through China, then Hong Kong, then Caymans? I dunno, what I'm talking about, just spitballing here.

Also there are a ton of very Russian-friendly bankers and money sitting in London right now.

I'd talk to an appropriate lawyer first... don't want to get caught between the tax man and the sanctions man.
