Default part time jobs

Does anyone who flies a for a regional also pull in additional income? I am starting training monday for a regional, and I'll be able to get by the first year but it will be super tight.

I saw a post on here several months ago with part time jobs people have but I cant seem to find it. Thanks.

Most airlines won't let you do outside commercial flying.
1. It counts against your monthy/annual totals.
2. Liability. You're not Joe CFI and student who had a mishap. You're FO Joe from XYZ airline who was instructing Mr. Newbie.

Just something to think about. If you have a cool CP you may get permission to do something. I wouldn't do it on the down low, not worth screwing up your career.

Get a job delivering pizzas. Pays $13-$15 (with tips). Set it up so you work 2-3 days a week for a few hours a night. Works ok for me.

If one doesn't have a 4 year degree, that should be your other job! Unless you want to greatly increase your chances as a lifer in the RJ.
