Free credit reports - link

Thought I'd pass this along to my fellow aviators. Finally a way of getting a copy of your credit report quick and free.

'This central site allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.'

Thanks for posting this! I found out I had a "possible negative" or whatever on mine that shouldn't have been there and was able to get it removed! Also I found I had about 7 other lines of credit ranging from $1500 to $300 in my name that I never knew existed. Some of them had been open since 2003. Never recieved a card or anything. I'm glad you posted this!

also, check your MIB file once a year...to make sure all medical information on you w/ insurance companies is accurate...

Everybody ought to get on and check credit reports. We found credit card accounts that we either didn't remember opening or didn't open. Thanks for the post.
