Fuel Prices and ATP Prices

ATP increased what they charge pretty much alongside the rapid increase in fuel prices. Well, fuel has dropped to 2004 levels, and ATP is still charging 2008 levels. For anybody thinking about entering the program, you should find out if they will lower the prices soon, and if not, think long and hard if you want to spend $70k plus another $78k in interest to go there. ATP is singing and dancing all the way to the bank right now.

It's not just the price of fuel.

I agree that it's not all fuel, but fuel was a major part of it. Their prices went up very quickly when fuel went up, understandably, but now that fuel has sunk to 2004 levels, they should charge must less. Perhaps not as low as they were charging in 2004 because of all the other reasons that is making training costs higher, (as you pointed out) but definitely not this high. BUT, I am a believer in the free market also, and if people are still paying for ATP at this rate, then they have absolutely no reason to lower their prices. I was just in the mood to complain. :D
