Quicken Replacement

Anyone have a good replacement for Quicken. I've had it with this program. Just spent an hour chatting with a guy from India on why the upgrade will not install. You would think if they are going to stop supporting the last version they would make the new one work.

Anyway, what do you all use for tracking investments and checking accounts.

Switching to MS Money would be the easiest for you, since it will import your Quicken data very well. About the same percentage of users have about the same percentage of issues with it, though.

I use Moneydance ( Moneydance 2008 - Personal Finance Manager for Mac, Windows, and Linux and OS2 and UNIX). Not as many features, but not as cluttered with "junk", either.

I just upgraded from 2006 Deluxe to 2009. Took less than 10 minutes to backup, download and install. No problems at all.

Good luck.

Wish I could say that. The real irritant is they charge you $24.95 to talk to an english speaking person. Otherwise you are stuck in a chat room with some guy from India.

My CPU went TU a few months ago and I lost Quicken so I switched to Mint.com It's all online and imports transactions and updates your investments. It links to all your accounts (Checking, savings, credit cards, loans, investments). Free too!
