Default New US tax implications for expat pilots

Hi,

Anyone understand the new tax issues for US pilots flying for foreign carriers based outside the USA?

As I read from the IRS website, seems we are exempt if we get less than an average of $127000 for the past 5 years..., but then again I am usually wrong...

Any experts out there care to enlighten the rest of us?

thanks
