Good news for anyone house hunting next year...the standard loan limit will be going up from $424,100 to $453,100 for loan closing in 2018. The limit is where you go from a lower interest rate conforming loan to a higher rate jumbo loan. For VA loans it also when you start requiring a down payment.

High cost area loan limits are increasing as well. I'm waiting for the official release from the VA and FHA, but the Federal Housing Finance Authority already pushed it out and the VA/FHA piggy backs on their limits. Below is the link to pull up your specific county's or future county's 2018 limit.

Just did our VA refi with the team at Trident. It was honestly so easy that it felt like something was missing, but it wasn’t...Marty and the team make things simple while looking out for you and communicating every step of the way. I recommended them before and I recommend them even more now.

Thank you Sir! Glad we could get your rate down and pay your closing costs too. Can’t beat that! Merry Christmas!

Count me in as another very satisfied customer. Just closed on our new house with Marty and his team. Can't say enough about the high level of service provided. They are very knowledgeable, communicative, flexible, obviously understand pilot pay, and they're FAST. Will definitely be using them again in the future!

Fellas,

Just out of curiosity, what rate was offered for your VA loan? I'm in the negotiation phase right now for a property in MS and plan on taking the VA path again for the mortgage. I was just offered 3.625 with zero points

I’ve been doing 3.5% no points, and a lender credit. Also need to look at what they are charging you in fees. Haven’t seen anyone beat me recently. Those 3.5% loans have been VA 30yrs (non-jumbo), greater than 200k loan, credit above 680. Happy to chat anytime. I’ll PM you my cell.
