Crew deductions

Some crew members have told me that it is ok to deduct union dues and van driver tips. Anyone have experience with this?

Check out this form for a list of possible tax write offs. http://www.advisorsquare.com/new/Acc...CrewWrkSht.pdf

There are many sites to help flight crews. They know how cheap we are so some are very reasonably priced:

Union Dues are fine, although you may be hard pressed to justify tips. While customary, there is no requirement to tip.

Thanks for the sites and quick replies.

Excellent list. I just got on with these guys this year. Saved me about $800+ off my tax bill for a $50 investment. Wish I'd known about them 20 years ago. :o
